Intelcia Group announces the opening of a second site in Senegal and consolidates its position as the African leader in customer relationship management

Thiès, home to Intelcia's second site in Senegal

By investing in Thiès, a city located 70 km from Dakar, Intelcia will have access to an employment area with great potential and that had remained untapped to date. This strategic choice is also in line with the group's ambition to be locally anchored and to have a positive impact on the ecosystem of all the cities where the group is established.

Intelcia currently employs 550 people at the Dakar site and plans to create more than 400 positions at the new site in Thiès, which will mainly include customer relations and middle management positions. The company's headcount in Senegal is expected to reach 950 employees in the first half of 2020.

We are committed to sustainable investment, value creation and talent development. Today we are focusing on building local management at every level. Our recruitment will therefore be geared towards local talent, as well as internal promotions. 80% of the group's middle managers have climbed the corporate ladder in this way,” says Jean-Yves Kotto, Chairman of Intelcia Group in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Intelcia, a global player and African leader in customer relationship management

Intelcia is the leading pan-African company in customer relationship management. It employs nearly 13,000 people in 8 countries, 75% of whom are based in Africa.

Globally, with revenues of approximately 200 million euros in 2017, the company ranks among the Top 5 “outsourcers” for French-speaking markets.

In addition to the longstanding companies in the telecommunications sector that are among its customer portfolio, Intelcia, through its pan-African positioning, also supports several large African groups in their customer relationship management activities; these include Sonatel and Orange in Morocco, Senegal and Cameroon,.

As a global player, Intelcia is now expanding into multi-channel, multilingual services, with the addition of new areas of business that go far beyond customer service to encompass the entire “customer experience”.

Intelcia's success is mainly driven by its corporate culture, its people-oriented and approachable management and its values of commitment, excellence, transparency and innovation. This foundation is common to all sites, whatever the country, and allows us to deliver a strong brand and a unique employee and customer experience.

Karim Bernoussi, founder and CEO of Intelcia: “We continue to operate in a dynamic of growth and internationalization and strive to reconcile the needs of our customers, our employees and the ecosystem that accommodates us. This involves a social and responsible commitment: training and upward social mobility, interculturalism, corporate well-being and proximity.”
